The Canadian Drone Institute
Academic Drone Training Company
Why Is the Canadian Drone Institute Different?
The Canadian Drone Institute is a Canadian company operated by a Team of retired Transport Canada Airline Pilots (ATP) and former Transport Canada Commercial Ground School Flight Instructors.
The Canadian Drone Institute is purely an Academic Drone training company, which is our core business.
We are now focused on the new 2026 BVLOS regulations released by Transport Canada.
Our Courses
We recognize the importance for Advanced RPAS pilots to be trained for the upcoming BVLOS regulations and we have already begun developing our curriculum. Let the Canadian Drone Institute prepare you for the Basic and Advanced certificates today and depend on our expertise for BVLOS training in the future
We will credit 100% of the Basic course cost towards your Advanced course cost should you like to become an Advanced commercial certificate holder in the future!
